next The Forever Birdhouse and Feeder

The Forever Birdhouse and Feeder are the original creations of Owen Clayworks. When purchasing one of these pieces of art, you will know that you have a truly unique piece of art for your lawn or garden but also one that will last for many years to come without additional needed maintenance.

Each birdhouse is divided into 8 separate living areas designed to provide a unique living experience for your feathered friends to raise their families. The feeders are designed to provide a secure fly-through feeding environment that is also proven to be resistant to pesky squirrels that like to steal their feed when mounted on the optional vinyl sleeve over your 4 x 4 post.

Each product has its own unique maintenance features. The birdhouse provides an easy to clean method of using a match to burn out the old nest. SInce it is made of clay and fired to 2200 degrees, you cannot damage it with a match and you destroy all mites that may of been left behind by the last family. The feeder has a waterproof characteristic that precludes the molding of feed with excess moisture. Since it is sealed through the firing process, any moisture that enters the feeder drains out the bottom drain hole and leaves you feed nice and dry and mold free!

Both products come with a pre-attached mounting bracket that just needs two screws to hold it to your post for a lifetime of beauty and enjoyment.

These birdhouses and feeders are designed to be hung from a tree or shepherds hook in your lawn or garden. We highly recommend that the decorative rope be replaced with wire before permanently mounting in your garden.

The birdhouse is a single family dwelling that makes an excellent home for the small wrens and chickadees. The feeder is equipped with a rubber stopper in the bottom that facilitates easy filling. The seed is then dispersed through 4 small outlets into a tray on feeder that allows easy perching for feeding.

Butterfly House
next Butterfly Houses
There is a lot of discussion about whether or not butterfly houses are effectively used by butterflies. Butterflies use these houses in the fall to lay their eggs and to “over winter” in if they don’t fly south for the winter. To make your new butterfly home more attractive, it is best to place the house in a wooded area of your yard and to put a couple of pieces of bark inside for the butterfly to rest on and  lay their eggs in
